Raise a glass to Lala Kent’s adorable motherhood journey with her daughter Ocean as she prepares to welcome her second child later this year.
Since joining *Vanderpump Rules* in season four back in 2015, fans have watched Lala evolve from a sharp-tongued young SUR-ver to a proud single mother of one, with her characteristic sharp wit still intact.
Lala welcomed her daughter Ocean in March 2021 while she was still engaged to her former fiancé, Randall Emmett. Since then, she has kept viewers updated on Ocean’s major milestones, sharing the cutest mommy-daughter moments and highlighting the 3-year-old’s heart-melting friendship with costar Scheana Shay’s daughter, Summer Moon, who was born just a month after Ocean.
Now, Lala is expecting her second child, having announced in March that she conceived using a sperm donor.
“I feel so happy,” Lala, 33, told E! News in April regarding her decision to expand her family. “I feel empowered and independent. It’s just a life that I never knew I would have, but I’m so grateful for. It is wild. I’m like, ‘Wow.’”
And how does Ocean feel about becoming a big sister?
“I didn’t really tell her in some big way,” shared the *Give Them Lala* podcast host, who is expecting another girl. “She wanted to sit on me and I was like, ‘You have to be really careful because mom has a baby in her belly.’ And she goes, ‘Mommy has a baby in her belly?’ I said ‘yeah’ and she said ‘let me see!’”
