Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin’s Romance Burns Like Kerosene at People’s Choice Country Awards

Miranda Lambert‘s latest look could heal even mama’s broken heart.

The country star turned the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards into a fiery date night, hitting the red carpet Sept. 26 with husband Brendan McLoughlin by her side.

For the swanky night out at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House, the couple opted for classic fashion. Miranda, 40, wore a lowcut chocolate gown with a statement turquoise necklace, while her husband of five years looked stylish in dark trousers and a black button-up. “I’m in my country music era forever,” Miranda exclusively told Heather McMahan on Live From E!: People’s Choice Country Awards, “so anytime I can have turquoise and sequins and fringe, I’m like, ‘Sign me up.'”

While this isn’t Miranda’s first rodeo on a red carpet, it is an especially big night for her: She’s set to receive the Country Icon Award during the ceremony, hosted by Shania Twain and streaming on Peacock.

And it’s extra special having her husband of five years there to watch her shine.

“Brendan’s the best,” Miranda exclusively told E! News at the 2024 VMAs earlier this month. “He’s down for anything, super happy and supportive, in the best way. Let’s me do my thing, but is right there beside me and it’s really awesome.”
