Halle Bailey recently opened up about the emotional toll of leaving her 9-month-old son Halo behind while traveling for work following her breakup with DDG.
On October 15, the 24-year-old actress shared a selfie from a plane, visibly upset, as she revealed her struggle with being away from her son. Bailey, who shares Halo with her ex-boyfriend DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.), expressed her feelings on Snapchat.
“Flying tonight to be somewhere for one day but having crippling anxiety without my son,” the Little Mermaid star wrote. “Any advice for moms who still can’t handle when they have to leave for work?”
In a lighter moment, Halle posted a follow-up video, showing a glass of champagne and adding, “Maybe a little bubbly will help.”
Her candid post comes just two weeks after DDG announced their breakup on Instagram on October 3, after two years together. “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”
