Despite ongoing issues with trespassers at his Toronto home, Drake has expanded his real estate portfolio by purchasing a $15 million ranch in Texas.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper acquired The Inn at Dos Brisas, a 313-acre resort located in Chappell Hill, Texas, just 45 minutes from Houston. The resort, previously listed for $17.5 million, was closed in July 2022 due to COVID-related financial difficulties before being purchased by Drake through realtor Lifestyle Ranch & Home Group via Compass in October 2023.
Constructed in 2002, the ranch boasts 14,000 square feet of Spanish-style architecture. It features four luxurious cottages (Casitas) for guest accommodations, an entertainment lodge with a pool and fully stocked bar, a commercial kitchen, an elegant dining room, and a climate-controlled wine room. Additionally, the property includes five haciendas, each with private pools and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.
The estate also offers amenities for equestrian enthusiasts, including a full equestrian facility and horse track. Drake can even introduce livestock on the expansive grounds if he desires.
Meanwhile, in Toronto, Drake’s security team recently confronted a third trespasser at his mansion. This incident follows earlier instances where individuals attempted unauthorized entry into the rapper’s home. Photos show one of Drake’s security guards detaining the intruder, though it is unclear whether the individual was arrested.
Despite security concerns in Toronto, Drake’s new Texas ranch represents a significant addition to his real estate holdings, showcasing his continued investment in luxury properties.
