Eminem is in a relationship with Michigan-based stylist and makeup artist Katrina Malota, marking his first public romance since his 2006 divorce from ex-wife Kim Scott.
The 53-year-old rapper is dating Katrina, according to multiple reports. A fellow Michigan native like Eminem, Katrina has worked as a stylist and makeup artist for the past 15 years. Her website highlights collaborations with Eminem—whom she calls her “local hometown genius”—as well as Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, and 50 Cent.
Eminem’s previous high-profile relationship was with Kim Scott, his on-and-off partner from the 1990s. They divorced for the second time in 2006 and share three children: Alaina, 32; Hailie, 29; and Stevie, 23. In the nearly two decades since, the rapper has focused on fatherhood.
Hailie, who married Matt Moeller in 2023, credited her dad for making her big day possible. “None of this would have been possible without my dad,” she told People. “I’m beyond blessed.” Eminem walked her down the aisle, as she shared: “He wasn’t going to miss that.”

“Over time, I’ve come to understand the struggle my father faced,” Hailie told People in June, “wanting to protect our privacy while also feeling proud and wanting to celebrate his kids.”
As host of the Just a Little Shady podcast, Hailie is emulating his approach by keeping her own children out of the spotlight while maintaining some openness. “It’s all about finding that balance between openness and privacy,” she said. “That balance has become even more important to me as I navigate parenthood.”
Eminem’s Family Tree: A Closer Look
Kim Mathers
Born Kimberly Ann Scott, the Michigan native was Eminem’s high school sweetheart. She gave birth to their daughter Hailie Jade in 1995. Kim and Eminem married in 1999, divorced in 2001, and remarried briefly in 2006. Their rocky romance inspired tracks like “’97 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Puke,” and “Bad Husband.”
“There’s a pattern in our relationship,” Kim said in a 2007 20/20 interview. “We’ll have two good years and then it will go bad for some reason. It’s like a two-year max with us.” Still, she praised Eminem as an “excellent” father: “He loves the kids very much. He’s always lending a helping hand.”
Hailie Jade Scott
Eminem and Kim welcomed Hailie on December 25, 1995. The rapper called her birth a “real wake-up call” to “get my a– in gear.” “Everything that I am doing right now is for Hailie,” he told Q magazine in 2001. “The money—it’s for her college.”
Raised in Eminem’s 15,000-square-foot Detroit-area home, Hailie studied psychology at Michigan State University, where she met her husband, Evan McClintock. They married in May 2024 after getting engaged in 2023. “She’s doing good,” Eminem said on a 2020 episode of Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, noting her 3.9 GPA. “She’s made me proud for sure.”
In October 2024, Hailie announced her pregnancy with their first child, a boy.
Alaina Marie Scott
Born February 22, 1993, Alaina is the daughter of Kim’s sister, Dawn Scott. Eminem adopted her in the early 2000s amid Dawn’s addiction struggles. “I have full custody of my niece and joint custody of Hailie,” he told Rolling Stone in 2004. “I was always there for Hailie, and my niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her; she’d live with us wherever we was at.”
Raised primarily by Eminem, the Oakland University graduate calls him “dad.” He walked her down the aisle at her June 2023 wedding to Matt Moeller, with Hailie as maid of honor. “He wasn’t going to miss that,” Alaina told People. “None of this would have been possible without my dad. I’m beyond blessed.”
Dawn passed away in 2016 at age 41.
Stevie Laine Scott
Kim gave birth to Stevie on April 16, 2002, with then-boyfriend Eric Hartter. Eminem adopted Stevie in 2005 during his reconciliation with Kim. Stevie came out as nonbinary in August 2021 via TikTok, stating they use “all pronouns.” They captioned the video: “forever growing and changing.”
Debbie Nelson
Born in 1955 at a Kansas military base, Debbie is Eminem’s mother. She married his father, Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr., at 15, per her 2008 memoir My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem. Pregnant with Eminem 16 months later, she moved to Michigan to live with her maternal grandmother.
Their fraught relationship fueled songs like the 2002 hit “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” where Eminem accused her of abusing prescription pills—a claim she denied. “What mother wants to be known as a pill-popping alcoholic who lives on welfare?” she wrote. “None of it was true, but the fibs kept getting bigger, and ultimately Marshall and I became estranged.”
Eminem later expressed remorse in his 2013 track “Headlights”: “I went in headfirst, never thinking about who, what I said hurt / In what verse, my mom probably got it the worst.”
Nelson died at 69 in 2024 after battling cancer.
